The hike to Nicolls Peak (6070') is about 3.5 miles round trip with an elevation gain of over 2500 feet. This is a cross-country hike that can be accomplished from the East or from the West. On this day I hiked up from the West and I reached the peak from the saddle after climbing Heald. Click here to see pictures
