The traffic jam I could have done without. It all worked out though and it was a historical season to be on Everest. It was much different than my 1995 climb when I had the summit to myself.
Way to go Kurt! Thanks for sharing some of the nitty gritty details on climbing the big-E. Glad that you and your buddy Sherpa Kancha Nuru made it up and down safely.
Also, thanks for sharing the absolutely terrific photo journal. I get a chance of visiting Everest vicariously
Congrats to both you & Kancha. Glad he got the opportunity to redeem his mistake, & may he have a long & rewarding career ahead of him. Glad the O2 situation eventually worked out & you got up.

Thanks Dirk! Yes I think Kancha will make a great climbing Sherpa. I think he'll be pretty careful to never drop another O2 bottle again.
Well done Pro and a great accomplishment . I loved the TR, very well written of course it doesn’t suck to have great material to write about does it?
