This rock outcropping appears to be the high point of Wilson Mountain.
Note the small cairn at the center of the photo.
Elevation 7,122 feet (per Topozone map).

Hi Steven, You put this comment on the main page: "Thanks to brianhughes for pointing out that the actual summit is a really impressive rock outcropping." I'm not sure I'd call the outcropping "really impressive". I think the perspective of the photo makes the rock look much bigger than it really is. However, it is a beautiful spot with a great view. I'm curious to know if the "Canyon Overlook" trail (which is indicated on the sign at the Pass) leads out to this rock outcropping. I suspect it does not, but since I lost the trail in the snow, I can't be sure.

I also did this one in the snow so I really do not know. I know that on Topozone the only trial it shows is the one that crosses the mesa.

Hey guys... there's no trail to the summit. The trail traverses Wilson north to south and hits overlooks on both sides, but doesn't go to the summit. Yet. Shhhh!
