Antonio Ramirez Morales and his horse that came upon us at about 13,000 feet on the hike in. We quickly took him up on his offer to ferry our gear to the hut. (Beware though--he said the cost was $300 pesos and once he loaded it onto the horse, it became $350. We were such suckers.)
