Re: Awesome!Thanks! We were probably about 1000 ft from the vent and another 6-700 feet from where the lava fell. It seemed safe enough. (Hah!)
A tour group next us were wearing plastic helmets. Yeah, that's going to protect them from a flying 10 pound chunk of molten lava!
