Hit all possible summits  Sucess!

Beautiful cirrus skies made up for the mediocre views. An LASD helicopter ran some SAR test runs near the summit in the afternoon. This is a beautiful transition zone between chaparral and conifers - and the Horse Flats campground below is actually a delight.

Rosenita Saddle  Sucess!

After Finishing Bare Mountain decided to check this one out since I was in the area. A nice quick one with a large flat summit plateau. Nice views but nothing outstanding. On to Mount Emma.

From Chilao via Silver Moccasin Trail  Sucess!

Easy out and back from Highway 2. Impossible to say where the highpoint is on the summit, though I did find the register. Views were eh.

Multiple Getaways  Sucess!

Many times with the wife and kids.....even dragged my sister-in-law up, set-up the tent and listened to her snore! I found one of the mattress people's bud in a baggy on Earth Day 2007!

Dayhike  Sucess!

The high point is very indeterminate. There's probably 10 points all vying for the highest spot. Views are about the same from all of them - mediocre, except for the extreme S end of the ridge, which is pretty decent.

Every route

I've run and hiked over this minor peak so many times I've lost count. Part of the Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run course.

Nice early morning climb  Sucess!

A nice, cool early morning climb. We started at 6:30 am and didn;t see anyone along the trail. We hiked up from the southeast and followed the ridge north to the rood as a loop. Check out the GPS tracks.
