Southeast Slope
I had no intention of climbing this mountain, but after climbing Mt. Agassiz in the morning and still feeling like I had a lot of energy, I decided on climbing Mt. Goode. From Bishop Lake, it's mostly a miserable sand slog, but the climbing near the summit is more solid and has nice views of the area.

East Ridge
Up the east ridge from Bishop Lake. Though I think the ridge helped avoid some of the annoying sand on the SE Slope, I did not find the route to be very endearing.

Horrible Snow
Great views. Too bad the same can't be said for the snow. Most rotten snowpack I have ever crossed, facets...F'n facets. Postholing 'ball deep' was the norm rather than the exception above 11K.

Did "Mt No Goode" (Pk 12916) and the traverse from it on the way up. Took the southeast slopes down. Both summits were worth checking out. Another day of great September cloud-free weather.

Via SE slope
Part of a backpacking trip to Dusy Basin. Camped at Bishop Lake; scrambled up via the south east slope. Fun. Awesome light on the way down; got really good photos. =) Saw climbers on the North Buttress. I think they made it to the summit just in time right before the rain (we were already on the way down). I really liked this peak and summit.

Walk-up
I remember finding pleasant class 3 scrambling right on the ridge above the N face... good peak.

SE Slope
Good deal of snow from the previous weeks storm. Occasional posthole to mid-thigh depth. Good firm snow for cramponing most of the way and some mixed rock up to easy class 3 near the summit. Beautiful blue-bird skies. First mountaineering trip with Luciano136 and first since moving back to CA.

S. Ridge
Traverse of the south ridge from peak 12,916 (No Goode) to Mt. Goode is an enjoyable class 3 scramble over good rock. The climb up Mt. No Goode is a misnomer as the climbing is fun class 3/4. Recommended over the slog up the S.E. slope.

Nice climb from Bishop Pass. There was a medium-sized snow field on route. It was kind of steep, but the snow was soft. Could be bypassed by going to the left towards No-Goode and moving along the ridge.
