Lookout with a Baby
Just went to the lookout. This was the first mountain I climbed with a baby on my back. It wasn't mine. It was a tiny British person named Davey.

Fremont
Hiked to Mount Fremont first on a very warm day. Then went to Burroughs Mountain which seemed to be even more crowded.

Dege, Antler, 2 McNeeley peaks, 4 Fremont peaks + the lookout, Skyscraper, 3 Burroughs peaks
Kind of a lame area, but the views are great. East Fremont had a good scramble, albeit a bit loose. Antler and McNeeley were the most junky ones of the day. A total of 12 peaklets.

Hit this one before heading to Skyscraper with Maddie. Lookout and true summit, this was the first of three in two days.

Mount Fremont
Lookout first then summit on the way back. Never found a bushwhack but I did scramble some loose scree to the top.

Nice Hike & Views
I left in the middle of the night, with occasional fireworks firing nearby all along the drive to Mount Rainier National Park. After stopping once for a short nap, this was a nice way to spend an early morning. I was the first person to visit the lookout (and true summit) that morning. I got an opportunity to meet a ranger who had spent the evening in the lookout tower, which was pleasant. Very easy hike with straightforward route. My favorite part was seeing a herd of mountain goats on the trail during the descent.

Blue Bird Day
Perfect day with many goats on nearby ridges. Got chewed out by a hiker for scrambling the true summit and gave him a lecture on what the rules were so that he would know before opening his mouth the next time.

Fantastic day! Sunrise road closed for the season, so I had to head up from Wht. Riv. parking lot. Changing this very easy hike to a 11.4mi round trip.

North Summit
Although I did not make it to the true summit, I went past it to the True summit which had good views of the sunset and Mount Rainier. A great easy peak of the area.
