Wolverine BasinSkinned up the road from Gunsight, left early and went up the ridge then skied down Wolverine Basin back to the road and out.

Plan BThis was our Plan B after failing on Purple Mountain (3,000 ft into it). We hiked up the south slopes from the Kebler Pass Rd. Lots of snow up high.

Great ViewsI climbed this via the Elk Creek trail followed by a scramble up to the Scarp Ridge once the Elk Creek trail seemed to peter out into old mining roads. I hiked east along the ridge line to Gunsight Pass and up Emmons/Red Lady. There was some snow at the top after some early season weather. Views were incredible in all directions.
