Worth the Jog
Pretty chilly morning; jogged most of the 8 miles to off-trail stream crossings and up Kuna Creek. Spectacular falls and pools. Scrambled the west ridge with the best Class 4-5 I could get near ridge proper. Descended north face with sketchy down climbing, sometimes Class 5 and cussing, back down Kuna Creek. Jogged back to truck, Fantastic day 14-hr day!

2014 SC
Long dayhike from rush creek - the lost lakes east of the peak are fantastic.

Nice weekend
Climbed as part of a two day outing with Donohue Peak and 3 others in the area. Kuna Creek Basin was very scenic, and no mosquitos.
The ridge from Donohue to Gem was rather enjoyable.
