rest day climb
Cell phone died on me so my guess is 80 minutes from TH to tower. The trail is in excellent shape.

Fun Adventure
Hiked up Mt Adams with my son(9) and daughter(6). We had a great time even though the summit was clouded in. The rest of the hike made up for not having any views. The kids did great and had a lot of fun on the rocky sections. We didn't have any problem following the trail and the firetower was in great shape. Can't wait to hike up here again with clear skies. I imagine views of the high peaks must be spectacular from this summit so close to them.

ADK MT>ADAMS
This was a very nice hike with a group out of Syracuse.I brought my 9 year old son for his first mountain ascent. On the summit ,it was full wintery conditions with -0 temps and winds over 40 mph.The firetower was damaged, but we went in fo the veiws anyhow. It was partially cloudy,so only moments of glory could be witnessed from our vantage point.I did like it up there and would do this one again sometime. It had alot of the character of its bigger brothers and the climb also proved to be quite stout as well.....Jim,w

High Peaks Fire Tower
One of the best views from a firetower in the Adirondacks. The High Peaks look close.
