Avy problemsHi Steve: Thanks for posting this, a good page. I remember this climb well. The first pitch when completely dry is pretty hard, about 5.9. We did it that way and I still remember the pitch. There was a bolt there on the right side a bit off the ground.
P. S. A comment for those new to the area. Both the slabs above Tokopah Falls and the upper bowl of this climb are very avalanche prone after a big dump. I saw a huge one scouring the approach slabs to the Moonage Daydream some years back while skiing a shortcut to Pear Lake hut. Cheers and good climbing, Alois.
