"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Good timesThis was a interesting trip, we ended up doing a little more than what was needed. But the scenery was decent.

Nice SummitTwo of our group of 5 turned back on the summit of Moose Peak when they saw the remaining distance. Robbin, Josh Lewis and I continued on to the summit circling around the more direct east side. We returned via the low trail through Grand Valley.

Not quite enough...I started the day at Dose meadows, hiked up to Lost and then Cameron pass. From Cameron I traversed the ridge to the saddle between McCartney and the adjacent unnamed peak of nearly identical height. My choice at that point was simple: press on toward Obstruction Point (my objective) or summit McCartney and then press on. Tired and weary I pressed on, descending the Lillian glacier and then clawing my way back up to Low pass. I now realize my mistake and will return one day (if I can ever get back to the Olympic Range) to climb McCartney.
