With Mammoth Mtn closing early due to the 'Rona, my ass took for the backcountry and tore up the Mammoth Lakes Basin from April to May on dozen or so routes. Terrific skiing with so much to offer that I never really paid much attention to until this year. Wahoo!

Interesting area
Visited many of the lakes and hiked to Duck Pass; an interesting area of the Sierra, sort of a wilderness-lite. Still want to do a couple other cross-country walks here, as you can hardly beat the accessibility.

Lived here when I was young
We lived in Mammoth for a while when I was young, and have been back many times as an adult to explore this beautiful area.
