Made it to the topTook a direct line to the top rather than aiming for the saddle. Wow, that was exhausting. Descended to the saddle first on descent.

2011 - Solo, summitted Cataract, Piegan and Pollock, descending via Lunch Creek. Great short cut.

Lunch Creek RouteUsed this route many times beginning in 1977 to reach Piegan, Pollock and Bishops Cap.

fogged in!sort of successful... set out for Piegan-Pollock-Bishops Cap amidst fog and sleet. reached saddle between Pollock and Piegan two hours later; limited visibility. decided to bag Piegan while there; unfortunately, we found out our compass was broken on the summit and we had a tough time finding our way down. eventually ended up heading south/southeast off the summit, climbing down class III and some class IV gullies south and west of Piegan Glacier. eventually cliffed out several hundred feet above Siyeh Bend and Going-to-the-Sun Road; we traveresed south on a game trail until we could bushwhack safely down to the road. quite an adventure!!!
