"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Gorgeous rangeAmazing mountains, difficult routes for climbing and a variety of options usually pretty accessible. An impressive range even though not too high.

An accessible paradiseFirst visited whilst working in Valencia. Drove through the lower foothills from Jaca to Vielha.
Stayed overnight in a refugio and climbed high enough to get my first view of Forcanada.

Aneto, Pyrinees highest peak.Climbed with Heloise (FRA) from la Renclusa, and through Portillon Superior. Awesome weather. We used snowshoes. I loved Paso de Mahoma and the vertical drop.
Wish I stayed longer to climbed the other ones. Beautiful Range.
