WinterIn winter bring an ice axe, crampons, gaiters, trekking poles and snowshoes (or the trip down. Up to the Taft Lodge this is an easy class one hike in winter. However past the lodge this trail is often abandon due to no winter markings a nice crux about 100 feet from the top. Unless you have this gear and are knowledge about it, a winter trip would be highly risky. I would recommend taking the Profanity Trail instead.
