Nice Write-Up

I appreciate you writing this, it's told very thoroughly and really brings back the experience.

Though there was snow on the SW Buttress it didn't pose any difficulties. It is hard to tell the steepness of the buttress when viewed from Titcomb basin. While on the buttress it didn't seem nearly as steep as it looked. What a great hike!

Stats?

What was the total mileage/elevation gain? Sounds like a great trip.

Re: Stats?

It was 30 miles round trip.

Gross elevation change on the way to the peak was roughly 5800 feet of ascent, 1500 feet of descent, and the reverse on the way back.

Here's a route profile.

What a day

I saw this post and thought if someone else did it then so can I. Late July I made my day hike attempt. Started at half past midnight, got back at 10:30pm, what a ridiculous day. Somewhere north of 34 miles roundtrip. Proud to have done it though
