Re: This is just amazing!Yes, every notable spire around Mont Blanc can be safely assumed to have at least one route on it. Les Dames Anglaises are no exception. There are five major towers: L'Isolée (to the right), Punta Casati, Punta Cretier (not distinguishable in this picture), Punta Castelnuovo (the highest) and Punta Jolanda. The approaches are long and difficult, the climbs are comparatively short. Hence, these towers are not climbed very often. The best way to climb them would be as part of the Peuterey Integrale (the traverse of the whole amazing Peuterey Ridge), but that is reserved to very few.

Re: This is just amazing!Di nulla. Mi son reso poi conto di aver per lo più duplicato ciò che tu e Gabriele avete scritto nella nuova pagina... Comunque, l'approccio dalla Brenva, visto così, fa abbastanza paura.

Re: This is just amazing!Sì... dalla Brenva non è tanto frequentata è abbastanza pericolosa.

Re: This is just amazing! There is too much Italian going on here! And as a member of the German Team, I figure I would say how great this shot is, once again, in my mother-tounge.
