Radek, you are an eye opener. I was right next to this one and didn't know it. : ( I looked at that peak too but I am so focused on county highpoints that I missed its true value. Good job and your new page is a nice contribution to the Eagle Cap area.
That list of 100 highest peaks in OR is a fun little resource esp. since there's no decent scrambles book for Oregon (one is in the works from what I heard but it'll be a while before it hits the market). Gives me lots of ideas for future explorations of this beautiful state.....unfortunately there's the winter thing that caught us by surprise early this year....might have to wait with most of this till summer '04.
Thank you for adding the photos - provide a different (snow free!) look at this little peak.
We could've used more company on this climb - too bad you couldn't make it!
Haydar mentioned that you're heading out to Hells Canyon this weekend for a backapck. Good stuff - only did one backpack there (last year...I think March) down Lostine River to the Snake I think. We liked it. It was warm and the scenery was very unique (qutie beautiful!).
I really think a new page entitled "What's New That Would Possibly Matter To Brian" is more appropriate. Your apology will be accepted only after that minor task is complete.
I'll keep an eye on the mail. It better be a NEW camalot!
(Hey, I went to the Mazama slide show on Ski Mountaineering in the Wallowas last night. Really got me wanting to go out there soon. Plus, I was SO close to the Mazama Climbing Library right upstairs. Hope we can get out to this area sometime soon.)

Untitled CommentGood stuff. Can't wait to get back over there next year. This looks like a nice two day combo with Red Mtn. Thanks for posting.

It's a fun, easy mountain and I'm sure it would be beautiful in good weather - which we did NOT have :( .

Untitled CommentHow could I have missed this one. Don't you know you are to inform me when you put a new page up, especially a Wallowa one?
I really think the only way you can make it up to me is to buy me the purple Camalot as a gift. I will also accept an ascender.
Really, Radek.............how could you?! That hurts, man. That really hurts. Well, it's back to therapy now for me. Thanks, pal.

Untitled CommentBrian,
I feel shame at my omission man!!!
I will propose to the SP powers to put together a page entitled "What's New in OREGON" to thus avoid such fiascos in the future!
Thanks for the good vote and the 4.5 Camalot = apology token is in the mail!!!!
