Re: Unstoppable Adam! Thanks Marc. The Himalayas were all we hoped for but it's also good to be back home climbing again.

I had no Idea!I had no idea that you could see this near Everest Base camp. I thought it would be dry and such. What a landscape shot this is! It may be a long time before you see this comment, but I'm glad your seeing some great scenery on your big adventure.

Re: I had no Idea! The area around base camp was fantastic, there was a lot to explore. We saw that most trekkers were stopping at the sign, but we wanted to see more than that, so we went beyond the sign to the actual camp. We also explored some ice formation of the active part of the Khumbu Glacier as well.

Re: Ice mountainsThat's exactly what I thought. some of these little ice mountains were 80 feet tall, but from afar they look like nothing.

I agree...with Silvia!! Excellent composition. Looks cold and absolutely delightful!
Congrats on getting to a part of the world that most people (I included) drool over!
Are ya gonna put up an album?

Re: I agree...Thanks, and good question. I do plan to create an album. I have been consciously limiting my time online these days, in favor of other things. But at some point I'll finish uploading images from this trip and put them in an album.

awesomelooks like some seriously awesome ice cragging, how stable do you think those seracs are? they don't look like they are going anywhere.

Re: awesomeI was thinking it would be fun to play here with ice tools. These particular seracs looked to be fairly settled, but a half mile away was the famed Khumbu Icefall. I wouldn't want to practice ice cragging there.
