This is the highest point in the Marin Headlands with radio towers and sporting a nasty barbed wire fence but you can walk around it. It has some of the best views of San Franscisco.

Decided to venture out to far west Marin County to do a hill that I've seen for some time now from other highpoints. It's on private ranchlands but no one was around but the cows who weren't too stoked about me passing through on my way to a ridge. Then the foxtails in the dry high grass attacked my new hiking socks like piranhas and I had to chuck 'um after I got back but it was all worth it.

Don't know how I missed Deer Park all these years. It's a great little canyon full of good woodsy trails. Jay and I took the one up to Bald Hill on a beautiful June evening.
