"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Check it off the listReally enjoyed the drive to get out here. Wish it was more of a hike, but it seemed risky to walk on that road.

HP #27Thankfully...I had to tinkle across the road at the top of the small hill and spotted the white sign walking out of the woods. I drove by it several times. Super easy stroll to the highpoint...even took my 76yr old mother

HP #22Rainy day. Actually drove out here from Plymouth, Ma. On a NE trip to see all of the historical sites and talked gf into taking a day to bag it. Went down to Newport, RI afterwards to walk through a mansion called "the breakers", so, she ended up happy..

Six on the SummitExactly like this page says: walk 200 yards to the rock on the well marked path. Cairns and flags make it just that little bit summitlike. State HP#22

Larvitour Stop #26After hiking Katahdin the day before, this one was pleasantly uneventful: a minute-long walk down a flat grassy trail. The "summit" was nicely decorated--thanks to whoever set up the cairns and flags. :)

Oops! After a long day summiting Greylock in MA for sunrise, we jogged in to Jerimoth Hill to get there before sunset and the "closing" of the private property. Snapped a couple pics and jogged back out to get back on the road and head home.

Jerimoth HillFirst time in Rhode Island. Why do they call it an "island?" I've enjoyed all of the flat-land highpoints I've tagged so far. This is a unique hobby!
