Jägerkamp Hike
From Spitzingsee I took a pleasant hike up to this peak. The route was incredibly easy, but with nice views and cows. After Jägerkamp,I took a nice little hike over to Benzingspitz, where I had surreal views and felt like I was floating above the clouds.

From Aurach . .
Beautiful summer day. I enjoyed the rondtrip in combination with Aiplspitz ( 1759 m / 5770 m ).

Didn't make it in winter
As a newcomer to snowshoes I tried to climb it during a great February stay in Neuhaus in Feb 2006. Started at Taubensteinbahn, went down the piste to below Schönfeldhutte, (where I left my wife), and then up via the Tanzeck. Nice day lots of snow, but I had trouble traversing a steep slope under the Benzingspitz, so had to turn back and "do" the Tanzeck instead. Subsequently found that my strap-on crampons were not biting into the snow as the snowshoes had broken loose due to a badly worn pivot bar. Now got some really great MSR Denali Classic snowshoes and will be back to the Jägerkamp when the snows return next winter.
