Yes they certainly were! They roll in so quickly. Clear blue skies one minute and next thing you know, you are getting surrounded by storm clouds. I'm really glad we got up to the saddle so early. It was so worth it. Thanks for checking out my TR.
I don't think most people would have reacted the way you did, when seeing a jet fly over on a hiking trip! But I understand as well. We have a National Guard Air Base in town so I get to see the F-16s fly over and in formation frequently. I never get tired of that!
Nope.... I never get tired of 'em either. I worked on the F-16 in the air force and also worked on them while employed @ General Dynamics in Fort Worth. They are an amazing aircraft. Thanks for checking out my trip report!
