If you take the Goodspeed trail, next time don't take a right to the summit. Go to the left and you come out at Gunsight Rock, there are great views from there. If your coming from Hood Mt. Regional Park, once at the summit, decend the trail to the SW. You'll come to a trail (Goodspeed) to the left, stay straight to Gunsite Rock. From the summit down to Gunsight it is about an 1/8 to a 1/4 mile walk.

Smokey day due to fires, not much in the way of views to be had. Trip Report.
Nice views of Sonoma Valley.
Watched the sunset with my wife the other night and came down by headlamp. Have watched the sunrise as well. Gunsite Rock is a nice destination.
