Thanks Melinda for the vote. You know, the mountains of Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington are all awesome. Oops, I left out Kansas, oh well. However, Mt. Rainier is still so impressive. Its the biggest mountain I've ever climbed and now I'm content to sit on a nearby peak and just stare at the big fella.
Thanks Don. Have you ever been up there? Bob and I want to pick up Mt. Wow, Unicorn and Purcell in the same area and of course I still need to do Big Horn and Gilbert. It is truly tough to get everything in that you want to do in a year.
I haven't forgotten Jefferson, just have to figure out a time for it.
I'm going to do Whitney and Telescope in early August. Want to get borah and Kings Peak in also. But where and when? ? ?
Thanks for your vote. I always enjoy those fine Canada pages you have put up. I learn something about places I've never even heard of before which is one of the reasons why SP is such a great site. I appreciate you stopping by.
Thank you Greg, I appreciate your comments and the vote. Your pages are all well done and are bringing a lot of life to some of the mountains in your area. What are you planning to hit when you come to Washington (state)?
I had plans of coming out this summer but money (or lack of it) got in the way. Next August I want to save enough money for Mt. Baker via Easton Glacier (guided/training tour) and/or the standard route up Mt. Hood (guided/training tour). For warm up or cools downs Vasper Peak and Mt. Ellinoir-Mt. Washington (WA) are also on the intinerary. If I get really ambitious I would like to Mt. Stewart as well.
I will definitely keep you in mind when I head out west.
Thanks Joseph. I'm heading to Utah for a week to spend some time in the Canyonlands, Arches and Capitol Reef areas as well as scamper up a few of the peaks in the Henry's, La Sals
and whatever. Can't wait to get down to the Beehive state once again. Good bye office, Hello Utah.
Thanks Courtney. Congrat's on your climbs in the palisades. You are doing some impressive stuff. BTW, your Northwest chute route up Starlight was well written and worthy of 3 carabiners.

Untitled CommentNice page. High Rock provides a superb "arm's length" view of Ranier.
