"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Sublime hikeFrom Mountain Springs - hit Mtn. Springs Peak on the way back. All manner of flowers were blooming at lower elevations, and for the last few hours (including in the entire summit zone), I saw no people until returning to the trailhead. Cairns really helped speed up the sandstone portion - some amazing rock up there.

From Mountain Springsw/ Maddie. Took the trail across the summit of Mountain Spring Peak, then continued on the climber's trail to Hidden. The sandstone portion was fun, as always, and the views down Black Velvet Canyon were incredible.

From west, too! Many, many times. It's an easier trip from the west, parking by Rainbow Springs, and heading up over the limestone ridge.
