tricky
Came up Baker Lake Trail. Directions are pretty much spot on on the page. Ascended the obvious groove to the summit but a couple airy steps although looked easier coming down. Grizzly scat on the trail.
Good times! Great views! I didn't see any signs of humans up there (except one unnecessary cairn on the way down that I kicked over). Nice job, Idaho! Short, easy bushwack by North Idaho standards. Awesome summit! Beautiful lake, too! Pretty busy trail to the lake, even on a Monday.

From Harrison Lake
Love this little climb. Hot early summer day and a nice breeze made this a glorious day.

South Face
Great fun route. The last pitch was definitely the best...beautiful cracks that are well protected. The weather was in and out with fog most of the day, but the climbing was worth it. Still lots of snow on the approach trail to Harrison Lake.

South Face
Climbed with Brian H. Very cold and windy. We did the route in four pitches. The east ridge slabs near the summit required a single rap due to thick ice. An excellent climb with good pro to 3 inches.

East Slopes
A bridge had collapsed on Pack River Road and access was closed so I had to hike in from the other side. It was a cold and cloudy day. Climbed up the east ridge of the mountain. This was my first trip to the Selkirks. I hope to visit this range again.

Have hiked this peak a couple times choosing to use the trailhead that begins from the oppisite side of the Pack River trail. A side trip to the lake is a must.
