I went up "east ridge" route of haeckel, then over to wallace. alot of the terrain closer to the haeckel side seemed very loose. i thought the best part w most solid rock was from the notch between to two peaks, up to the summit of wallace. after bypassing the first little cliffband, you can follow the very ridgetop, class 3, nothing too crazy.

good pointThat's exactly what I did. The regular way was looking to be a slog, and the ridge has great views.
