Climbed Widderstein twice. Via Hiltimanie (UIAA 7-) in 2002 and together with my wife on the normal route in june 2009 (still lots of snow at that time). Good spot to meet "Steinböcke".

Normal route from Baad
Solo in a one day tour with nice weather and a wide summitview.

My 2nd mountain
The 2nd mountain I climbed, en solo like the 1st, from/to Hochtannbergpass, unfortunately in clouds from the rocky section on.
Reclimbed in Sept. 2003 in better weather on the here described normal route, with descent via Gemsteltal.

Normal route from BaadNormal route from Baad, summit, then down the east side to Mittelberg. You can catch a bus back to Badd or walk.
Bluebird day. Good conditions with only two short patches of old snow. Lots of potential rockfall from climbers above.
