Jubilant and loaded on caffeine for big ass dayhike of Mt Lyell via Lyell Glacier to NW ridge. Good firm sun cups from the slabs to the peak walls; blue ice beginning to show through the bottom of sun cups. Bergschrunds growing by the minute.
