Hiked to the Titan Viewpoint along the easy trail leading below the towers. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and I can only imagine the views when climbing the towers themselves. It's definitely one of the most scenic areas I've seen in the state of Utah. Our kids had fun watching the climbers, as well as a group of parasailers who flew between a few of the towers.
Been climbing here for several years now; it has become one of my most favorite places, not only to climb, but to just plain be in. No other place has instilled so many different emotions in me. Looking forward to being able to keep coming back. Long live the Fishers!
ancient art and the cobra,,, this place has so many cool towers to choose from my favorites are the corkscrew and the cobra with the 2 coolest summit photos...
CITIBANK COMMERCIAL NEEDS TRAD CLIMBERS THAT KNOW FISHER TOWERS
Hi, I'm a casting director in LA and am working on a Citibank commercial. We are looking for Trad Climbers that are familiar and comfortable with climbing the Ancient Art/Fisher Towers area. This job shoots Oct 28 & 29 at Fisher Towers... and we are having a callback this coming Thursday the 20th in LA. If you feel you might be right for this or know of other trad climbers that might be as well - we are looking for female and male trad climbers that are amazing climbers that are familiar with this area... let me know. You can reach me at shanecasting@mac.com.
Thank you!

getting started
fall 2014- rough season. problems with broken rivet hangers and bolt ladders....watching the sunset from the corkscrew summit belay was very cool! spring isn't that far off
4/15/11- w/aaron, successfully climbed ancient art via the stolen chimney and corkscrew summit on a beautiful, sunny day. phenomenal route and awesome, airy summit! a day, and tower, to remember.
climbed the short, yet sweet entry fee on lizard rock for dessert.
3/19/11- w/seth & AJ, climbed the stolen chimney route on ancient art on a chilly end of winter day. stopped before the airy upper pitches due to heavy winds(~30 mph).
11/8/09- w/mike, stopped by fisher towers TH to check out the scene and ended up climbing the easy tower, dock rock via impish(5.4, 1 pitch).
Route Climbed: Stolen Chimney Date Climbed: April 2005
This climb is suprisingly moderate (easy?), for a desert tower. I was quite scared standing up on the summit -- in contrast to my partner who all but did an Irish jig up there!
Shirley and I climbed this on the morning of Christmas Eve. Super cold in the morning (teens). Warmed up to upper 30's when the sun came up. Interesting rock. Awsome summit. Camera broke on pitch 2 so no summit photos!! Done as 5.8 A0.

Onion Creek Towers: Window Fin, Rabbit Tower, The Gnome, and Hanky Manky.
Route Climbed: Stolen Chimney, Ancient Art Date Climbed: May 1999
This was our first taste of sandstone/mudstone--whatever you wish to call it. Nothing quite like being able to pull bolts right out and then back into the "rock." Stolen Chimney is a wonderful route, with a bit of everything--some aiding (if you so desire), chimney climbing, exposure, and then the summit! If in doubt on the final moves of the summit when leaving the "sidewalk," head right. A great route!!
