the 3 "faraglioni" di Capri are the final pinnacles of the ridge coming down from the East summit of the island. They rise about 100m over the sea and have a rock climbing history ... already in the late '30 some famous lombardic climbers (Vitali and company) went to climb there along routes that (I heard) are still used. The accesses to the routes start from the sea (a boat is needed) with the excepion of the first one : the "faraglione di terra" that can be reached crossing the strip of land joining to the island : the only problem (from june to september) is that you must pay a lot of money to cross the bathing establishment ...
