Normal route up, long loop down
Took the normal route up with a detour to Punta Abizondo (well woth the effort!). Vultures were flying above and below us on the summit. Did a longer loop towards the west when going down.

Easy climb for amazing views
Climbed Ezkaurre with perfect weather conditions: a tiny layer of clouds but a nice temperature.

Winter Climb
My first winter climb to Ezkaurre. A lot of snow in the channel of access but in bad conditions (very soft). With crampons and ice-axe it's an easy climb in good days with sun (With ice is different). In the descent we climbed the Punta Abizondo (1673m) a very nice sharp peak with a rock-climb of F+ and great landscape.

A lot of problems in the route to access to the col across a difficult forest of pines. We tried a route signaled in the maps but was very complicated. Finally we reach the Lake under Ezkaurre with very cold and strong wind. We don't climbed the summit (dangerous with a lot of snow) and we returned following the GR-11, with nice views, climbing Itoleta and Arnaya and taking the information of the route to the page of SP.

Got to the top together with Rafa, as usual. We had quite a hard (and fast!) climb while trying to avoid the obvious storm gathering north of us. Unluckily, we couldn't make it in time and got soaked in the final section of the way down. We have to get back some time and enjoy the sight. For there has to be a sight, never mind the fog that surrounded us at the summit.

Hard day with a lot of fog to reach the summit and dangerous descent with storm (the limestone it's very dangerous with rain). After the storm the view of Alanos and Belagua was beautifull.
