Fantastic views
Didn't come up the gully, but I sure did wonder why a trail to Islip wasn't constructed there instead of having to hoof it all the way from Islip Saddle. Unstable terrain? Crowd deterrent? Both?!
Views were actually better from the ridge just below the summit than from Islip itself.

4th of 4 Peaks
After bagging Throop Peak, Mount Hawkins and Middle Hawkins it was time to go visit the shamble hut on Islip. Views sucked due to poor air quality and all the burnt trees gave a feeling of destruction but I enjoyed the work-out very much.
