I scrambled up Dragon's Head from the Tarn below after summiting San G from Vivian Creek in the late 80's or maybe 90 or 91. Too long ago to remeber exactly when. I remember the summit register had entries from the 1970's. What an awesome SoCal peak that is mostly overlooked.

San Gogonio Roundup
With Bob, Jon, and Laura. I stopped at 8 peaks but Bob went on to do 10 total.

From Vivian Creek
From Vivian Creek to ridge above High Camp on trail and cross-country, then contouring on the SW flank of Gorgonio to the saddle and straight up to the summit. Peak 1 of 3 for the day.

Vivian Creek
Beautiful day for hiking. Left the Vivian Creek Trail at around 10,200' and sidehilled (relatively unpleasant) down to the creek then up the drainage to the east and over to Bighorn. Nice views from the top. Climbed up to Dragon's Head afterwards which was a fun, short hike up the NE ridge.
Fun scramble down from San Gorgonio; bit of a sloggy traverse back to the Vivian Creek Trail. Had two summit registers dating back to 1973 and 1975 which is pretty cool. Bummed out that I couldn't (safely) add Bighorn Mountain to my day as I only had 10 oz. of water left at San G's summit. Guess the weather was warmer than I realized!
