View from the summit of Dinara (1831m) towards NW. Behind, in the distance, is Ilica (1654m), one of four groups which make Dinara massif. Small branches that are still above the snow are tops of dwarf pine colonies which burned few years ago in large forest fires that swept large portions of forest around the Dinara group. Dwarf pine is around 2 meters high so that is good indication of snow depth (around 190cm). February 23rd 2003.
