"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

West face - 'Via Normale'Just like Dreischusterspitze, this is another mountain I always wanted to climb since I was a little boy. The west face is a great climb in a rather alpine environment and despite some ducks and blazes routefinding in the middle section is not as easy as it looks and requires at least one solid III+ pitch (in dry conditions!). The final approach from the notch to summit is fun with an easy traverse on ledges towards the summit cross. On the way down we used the 'rappeling route' starting a few meters below the notch. Very impressive and fun. Another great climb with Achim Mierswa.
