multi-day backpack
From Jerkey Meadow trailhead along with Angora Mtn. on the way up. Fumbled through the meadow areas on the way up, losing and regaining the trail numerous times. Completely lost the unmaintained trail coming back down. Ended up following Deep Creek directly back to the Little Kern River.(not a bad route in retrospect).
Only regret was not spending at least one night at the beautiful summit lakes.

From Lewis Camp
Overnight backpack with a camp at Coyote Lakes. Climbed Angora and Coyote on Day 1, then walked out on Day 2. Nice temperatures for the whole hike except that it got a little warm on the last uphill part to the car from the Little Kern River.

A long day hike
This peak is a looong ways from the trailhead taking me 9 hours to get there. Spectacular views made up for the approach. Trails in this area are not maintained and easy to lose. Summited Angora on the way back. Pictures

Great day
Wonderful day with cloudless skies after being turned back due to bad weather the weekend before. Came in from Jerkey Meadow and climbed with Angora Mtn, only saw one party the entire trip north of Little Kern River, but the trailhead had dozens of cars this Memorial Day weekend.
