Great Overlook
Up the AT from Duncannon; then onwards south on our section hike. Loved the view.

Hawk Rock
Fun hike up. Spent a few hours climbing around on the rocks once we got to the top.

Nice little hike
Hiked up to the ridge and ate some breakfast. The climbed around on the rocks with a top-rope set up and did some repelling as well. Great time fun little place.

Started the hike at quarter till 7 and got to Hawk Rocks just as the sun came up. Gorgeous morning but pretty tough. There was a lot of snow on the trail and my trekking poles came in handy. Also a little tricky on the steep sections. Continued all the way to the true summit but was too dead to go on to the pipeline. It's a lot tougher with snow. Still a great morning!
Another long, linear Rocksylvania mountain, but more interesting than most. The view from Hawk Rocks is moderate, but so is the climb to get there. We made good time from Duncannon south despite Mike's growing hernia and a week on the trail already. We finally crashed after traversing most of the great valley (18 miles of utter flatness) bringing us to a 26 mile day.
