From Tujunga Canyon Road
Like Bob said. Not the most exciting outing, and mostly just a way to get a little exercise. I enjoyed the jog back down Trail Canyon--the sun was out, a few flowers starting to appear, and it verges on being scenic in places.
The most memorable moment of the day came when I tried to hitch a ride back to our car. After walking the first couple of miles along the road, someone finally pulled over... to ask if I needed a ride, and then to follow up by asking if I had anything to smoke. As I had to respond no to the latter query, the offer of a lift was rescinded and he drove off. Guess I should include ganja in the list of Ten Essentials when hiking around LA.
