Combin de Corbassiere
Done with Swiss Alpine Club. Unfortunately most of the climb (South Ridge) was in the clouds so I did not get the summit view, but the approach was spectacular.
Route Climbed: South Ridge Date Climbed: september 2012
Fresh snow on the high mountains forced us to focus on lower summits and climbs of more moderate difficulty. The traverse of the Combin the Corbassière and the Petit Combin proved to be a nice alternative, even with about 20cm of fresh snow covering the rocks. The South Ridge is a fine climb in it's grade!

Traverse
Climbed the north ridge of the Petit Combin from a bivy at the parking near the Brunet hut. A great ridge with a very fine ice slope at the end. On our descent we climbed the Combin de Corbassière and then continued glacier de Corbassière and back to the Brunet hut. A beautiful traverse with a very long descent!
