last preparation trip before Island Peak. Great views, some clouds occured. I felt well on the climb but had some problems coping with the height after returning to Chukkung.

I hiked up this thing on a rest day at Chukkung en route to climbing Imja Tse. Dragged out of bed by my great friend of many years Bhakta, I reluctantly plodded up it. "Good acclimatisation sir, you will not fail Imja Tse this time sir!" I couldn't answer him back, too knackered. He was right!
