meandering hikeI started from the east side TH and did a sharply uphill bushwhack after only a short period on the trail. Unlike other mountains in the area the woods are very open and conducive to off trail travel. I scampered all over the summit areas, which had a few people who had driven up on a fairly chilly day for the time of year.

Rainy DayI hiked up the mountain along an old Wilkes-Barre and Eastern Railroad grade. Got caught in a summer thunderstorm and downpour a the top.

A blustery snowstormI visited the summit in the middle of a raging snowstorm. The winds gusted better than 45 mph. The road trip up the mountain was a bit scary, but overall I made it.

Skiied A LOT!I have skiied there many times and have alway's wonderd about hiking the mountain. I guess I'll have to put it on my list.

Great day!Gorgeous day on the summit of Camelback Mountain. Picked great tasting blueberries and raspberries and amazing views! Awesome PA summit!
