Calispell Peak
Drove my wife's car to the top of this one. Neither she nor the car were very happy.

In the spell of Calispell
The last 4.5 miles of road are rough. High clearance required. 4x4 when wet. Saw a bull moose and a doe strolled over to investigate me at the summit. Near the summit, a hawk flew close above my truck as if it was looking for me to flush some game.
I thought about stopping into the USAF Survival School but I decided that they probably don't do tours.

Calispell
Came in from the East. Didn't remember the road being that bad but roads change. I was stopped by a snowbank fairly high up and then walked the grass slopes to the top where a communications worker was doing his thing.

Drive up
Wonderful views from this prominence peak. Enjoyed the summit with Bob Bolton.
Worst. Road. Ever.
I kept thinking that during the drive up and down the peak. I was thankful nobody else was also driving those roads that day, as the large truck I was using would have had few places to pull over and allow space for another vehicle to pass by.
Great views from the summit. In retrospect, I would have preferred to hike and camp on the mountain, if the distance were not so long to do so.
