nice shoes...i have nothing to say, I have done it so many times myself - bouldering with normal hiking shoes...

Re: nice shoes...Yes, we just went for a walk around the park, but we never thought we'd be scrambling up these huge boulders. It was fun.
I've done it with regular hiking boots as well, and even barefoot, but I don't think I'd do it near those thorny cacti.
