"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Untitled CommentThanks Dave, I've been laying on this one for awhile. It's not a grand place but it'll do in a pinch.

Untitled CommentThanks KW, it's close enough to home. I just read somewhere that there's climbing close to Stuttgart, I lived there for 3 years but never even heard of rock climbing at the time - terrible shameful waste!

Untitled CommentGood page! What I liked most was "flora and fuana" - like in Iguana. And that was before I saw the picture.

Untitled CommentThanks Martin, you might not want to rush down here to climb it though; desparate SoCal folks have it monopolized.

Untitled CommentHa! Won't have to worry about that. The only way I'm heading down there is to do a wall or some nice slab or alpine rock in T. Meadows. Ok, maybe the East Face of Whitney too.
Cheers,
Martin

Untitled CommentNice page. Never thought of paying one of my kids to belay me. It seems that I have to pay them to do most anything else for me. it should have crossed my mind.
