Great day as the only hikers up Jay and Big Jay on President’s Day!

Via the herd path from Jay's Peak
The Noreaster that blew through a few days ago that knocked out power for several hundred thousand people also dropped a few trees on the herd path, including one directly at the intersection of the herd path and the Long Trail. The register jar needs a new (preferably short) pencil to record entries with in the notebook.
Skinned up the trails on Jay Peak and then traversed the easy and obvious trail along the ridge connecting to Big Jay. Great views and tremendous amounts of snow.
