Re: Gorgeous!!!Kerstin..Thank you! I know pictures do not do it justice..you have to see it in real.
I keep thinking we should have walked over to the rock outcropping to look down over that cliff. I have to show you the black and white of it that was taken in 1954 I was telling you about :)

Nicely framedI really like these type of alpine grassy pond subjects and this one you found with the smooth curving shore lines is exceptional. Nicely framed maidintahoe! The clouds in the sky at least in this tiny web image are a bit bright and that likely took some of the punch out of the green in of the pond grasses as the camera exposure dropped. A little simple Photoshop work could easily improve both. ...David

Re: Nicely framedHi David! Thank you very much for you kind comment..means a lot as I love your work you do. I 1st saw this spot 6 years ago..my camera had broke on that trip & did not get any pics..I absolutly fell in love with this special place..I have never quite seen such a lovely place before as here..that curving shoreline is really unique..I wish I had a better camera to maybe get a better image..I have never worked with photoshop.
Thank you again!

Re: great wallpaperSquishy..Thank you! yes you are right about the floating grass in DW.
This is probably one of the most beautiful settings I have seen in the Sierra...pictures do not do it justice..you have to see it in real.
